Our Horses and Mule

We keep a few horses at the farm mostly for trail riding and enjoying. Last year we did breed our APHA mare, Dee Painted Fleet to the wonderful stallion Moonshine Leymagic and the baby was worth the wait. We have a wonderful sorrel overo filly from Dee.

Dee is a double Norfleet Bred Mare, Granddaughter to Mr. Norfleet on one side and Great Granddaughter on the other side, with Red Sonny Dee and other great names in the paint horse breed.

WE FIND THAT WE DO NOT HAVE TIME TO RIDE THESE HORSES AND ARE OFFERING THEM FOR SALE AT THIS TIME.

	This is Shy Anne and her new friend, Speedy. We raised Shy Anne here, she was born here. This July she will be 4 years old and has been started under saddle. Speedy is just a lovely white john mule we got from Lee Stotesberry. He is a gentle soul and we love to have him.
	This was Shy Anne as a Baby. She has always been a real people horse. She is a Cross of a Quarter Horse mare and a Shire Draft horse sire.
	My mother, with Dee before Dee gave birth. Mom is really not the Horse type but she often pets them or will give a treat or two.
	Shy Anne on one of her first rides. Riding Shy is Klay Baker. He helps me at the farm and rides the horses as he is young and bounces better than me.HAHA
	Thank you also to Ed Tyree for helping us to get this mare under saddle. He has rode her quite a few times for us and has brought her a long way.
